How often should gas heaters be serviced?
Energy Safe Victoria recommends every two years, but we recommend annually, especially for heaters over 10 years old. Regular servicing prevents carbon monoxide risks and keeps efficiency high.
Can you convert from electric to gas?
Yes, we can run new gas lines and connect appliances as part of a conversion. We'll assess your existing gas meter capacity and advise on any upgrades needed.
What should I do if I smell gas?
Turn off the gas at the meter, open windows, avoid any sparks or switches, leave the property, and call us or the gas emergency line (132 771) immediately.
