1. Service Terms

By booking our cleaning services, you agree to the following terms. Spot On Maintenance & Cleaning provides professional cleaning services across Melbourne, including end of lease cleaning, after builders cleaning, and steam cleaning.

All services are subject to availability and confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.

2. Booking and Payment

  • Bookings can be made online, by phone, or through our chat service
  • A deposit may be required for larger jobs
  • Full payment is due upon completion of the service
  • We accept cash, bank transfer, and major credit cards
  • Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issue

3. Cancellation Policy

We understand plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled service
  • Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee
  • No-shows without prior notice will be charged a call-out fee
  • Rescheduling is free with at least 24 hours notice

4. Bond Back Guarantee

For end of lease cleaning services, we offer our Bond Back Guarantee:

  • If your property manager is not satisfied, we will return within 72 hours to reclean at no extra cost
  • The guarantee is valid when you book our comprehensive end of lease package
  • You must notify us within 72 hours of the property inspection
  • The reclean covers items on the original checklist only
  • Access to the property must be provided for the reclean

5. Access and Preparation

To ensure we can provide the best service:

  • Please ensure access to the property at the scheduled time
  • Remove personal belongings and valuables before our arrival
  • Ensure water and electricity are connected and functioning
  • Inform us of any specific areas of concern or instructions
  • For end of lease cleans, the property should be vacated

6. Liability

Spot On Maintenance & Cleaning is fully insured for public liability. However:

  • We are not liable for pre-existing damage or wear and tear
  • Items left in the property are the owner's responsibility
  • Any damage must be reported within 24 hours of service completion
  • We will not be held responsible for outcomes that are beyond the scope of cleaning (e.g., permanent stains, structural issues)

7. Health and Safety

Our team follows strict health and safety protocols. We use eco-friendly, non-toxic cleaning products where possible. Please inform us of any allergies or sensitivities. For builders cleans, our staff are White Card certified and follow SWMS (Safe Work Method Statements).

8. Dispute Resolution

If you are not satisfied with our service, please contact us within 24 hours. We are committed to resolving any issues promptly and fairly. Our aim is to ensure your complete satisfaction with every clean.
