What paint brands do you use?
We primarily use Dulux and Taubmans professional ranges - they offer the best coverage, durability, and colour accuracy. For exterior work, we use products specifically rated for Australian conditions. We're happy to use any brand you prefer.
How long does it take to paint a house?
A single room takes 1 day including prep. A full interior (3-4 bedrooms) takes 3-5 days. Adding exterior painting extends the timeline by 3-7 days depending on the size and condition. We'll provide a clear timeline with your quote.
Do I need to move furniture?
No - we move and cover furniture as part of the service. Large items are shifted to the centre of each room and covered with protective sheeting. Floors are fully protected with drop sheets. We put everything back when finished.
How do you handle paint colour selection?
We can help with colour consultation, provide sample pots for testing, and advise on finishes (flat, low sheen, satin, semi-gloss) for different areas. We recommend testing colours on your walls in natural light before committing.
What surface preparation do you include?
Every job includes filling cracks and nail holes, sanding smooth, cleaning surfaces, and applying primer where needed. For exteriors, this also includes scraping flaking paint, treating mould, and sealing raw timber. Proper preparation is essential for a lasting finish.
Do you provide a warranty on your painting work?
Yes, we provide a 2-year workmanship warranty on all painting. This covers peeling, bubbling, or adhesion issues resulting from our application. Paint manufacturer warranties (typically 10-15 years) also apply to the products we use.
