Common Area Cleaning FAQ
Everything you need to know about our common area cleaning service in Melbourne. Can't find your answer? Call us directly.
How often should common areas be cleaned?
Most body corporates schedule weekly or fortnightly cleaning. High-traffic buildings with 50+ units typically benefit from twice-weekly service. We can recommend a frequency based on your building size and resident expectations.
Can you clean outside of business hours?
Absolutely. Most of our strata clients prefer early morning (before 8am) or evening cleaning to minimise disruption. We also offer weekend cleaning for buildings where weekday access is difficult.
Do you provide cleaning supplies or does the body corporate?
We bring all equipment and products - commercial vacuums, mops, eco-friendly cleaning agents, and specialist products for different surfaces. If your building has specific product requirements (e.g. no bleach), we accommodate that.
How do you handle access and security?
We work with your building manager or strata manager to arrange secure access. Our teams can use fob access, coded entry, or concierge systems. All staff carry Spot On ID and are police-checked.
Can you handle additional one-off cleaning requests?
Yes - things like post-renovation hallway cleaning, pre-AGM deep cleans, or seasonal window cleaning can be booked separately or added to your regular schedule. We offer discounted rates for existing contract clients.
What reporting do you provide to the strata committee?
Every clean is documented with a checklist completion report. We can include timestamped photos, note any maintenance issues spotted (e.g. broken lights, graffiti), and provide monthly summary reports for committee meetings.
