Strata Grounds FAQ
Everything you need to know about our strata grounds service in Melbourne. Can't find your answer? Call us directly.
How often should strata gardens be maintained?
During spring and summer, fortnightly visits are recommended for most properties. In autumn and winter, monthly visits are usually sufficient. High-profile buildings or those with extensive gardens may benefit from weekly service year-round.
Do you handle tree removal?
We handle small to medium tree pruning and removal. For large tree removal requiring an arborist, we can coordinate with certified arborists and manage the process. Note that many councils require permits for significant tree removal.
Can you redesign our garden areas?
Yes, we provide garden design consultation and can implement makeovers including new planting schemes, mulching, edging, and feature plantings. For complex landscape architecture, we partner with specialist designers and execute their plans.
What about rooftop gardens and planter boxes?
We maintain rooftop gardens, balcony planter boxes, and podium-level landscaping. These require specific knowledge of weight restrictions, drainage, and appropriate plant selection for exposed conditions.
How do you handle garden waste?
All green waste is removed from your property as part of every service visit. We dispose of it through licensed green waste facilities. For large volumes (major pruning or garden renovation), we arrange trailer or skip bin collection.
Can you manage our building's irrigation system?
Yes, we check irrigation during every visit, adjust timers seasonally, replace sprinkler heads and drippers as needed, and identify leaks or coverage gaps. For system upgrades or new installations, we can design and install complete irrigation systems.
