Strata Pressure Wash FAQ

Everything you need to know about our strata pressure wash service in Melbourne. Can't find your answer? Call us directly.

Will pressure washing damage my building's surfaces?
No, we use appropriate pressure settings and techniques for each surface type. Delicate surfaces like painted render receive soft wash treatment (low pressure + cleaning agents), while robust surfaces like concrete driveways get full high-pressure treatment.
How do you manage water runoff?
We use water containment methods including berms and vacuum recovery where required. We comply with EPA regulations regarding water discharge and take care to prevent water from entering ground-floor units, lifts, or electrical rooms.
How often should building exteriors be pressure washed?
Annual washing is recommended for most buildings. Properties with heavy shade (promoting algae growth) or near main roads (pollution buildup) may benefit from twice-yearly cleaning. We can recommend a schedule based on your building's specific conditions.
Can you clean multi-storey facades?
We clean facades up to approximately 3 storeys using extension equipment. For taller buildings, we coordinate with our rope access and EWP teams for comprehensive facade cleaning.
Do you remove graffiti as well?
Yes, we can combine pressure washing with graffiti removal. Depending on the surface and paint type, we use chemical removers, pressure washing, or both. We also offer anti-graffiti coatings to protect treated areas.
What about oil stains in car parks and driveways?
Our industrial degreasers combined with high-pressure hot water effectively remove most oil and fluid stains from concrete. For very old or deeply penetrated stains, we may need to apply degreaser, let it dwell, and then pressure wash for best results.
